Terms of use

The agreement between you and Seanors for use of seanors.com and the Seanors applications.

Last updated: September 11, 2026

These terms of use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the website seanors.com and the Seanors web, iOS and Android applications (together, the "Service") provided by Seanors, a company based in France. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorised to bind it.

1. The Service

Seanors provides property management software for management companies and independent landlords, a field-business platform for contractors, and a rental marketplace for renters, together with free public research. Features vary by account type and may change over time.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for your credentials, for all activity under your account and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Notify us promptly at support@seanors.com of any unauthorised use.

3. Fees

Fees are deducted from processed amounts or charged to your payment method on file. Applicable taxes are added where required. We may change fees on 30 days' notice.

4. Payments and third-party services

Payments, e-signatures, credit and background screening and rent reporting are performed by third-party providers under their own terms, which you agree to when you use those features. Seanors is not a bank, a broker, a credit bureau or a consumer reporting agency. Screening reports must be requested and used only in compliance with applicable law, including fair-housing and consumer-reporting laws.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the content and data you upload. You grant Seanors a licence to host, process and display it as needed to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the rights and consents required to upload personal data of tenants, applicants, owners and employees, and for using the Service in compliance with landlord-tenant, privacy, tax and employment laws that apply to you.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to discriminate unlawfully, to post false or misleading listings, to harass others, to scrape or bulk-download content except the datasets we publish for that purpose, to interfere with the Service's security or operation, or to violate any law.

7. Research and legal library

Rent reports, datasets and answers in the legal library are provided for general information. They are not legal, tax or financial advice, and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Datasets are released for free reuse with attribution to Seanors.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and trademarks belong to Seanors and its licensors. Except for the licences expressly granted here, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or create risk for other users. On termination you may export your data for 30 days, after which we may delete it subject to legal retention requirements.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seanors disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seanors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid to Seanors in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the mandatory consumer protections of French law.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify Seanors against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect.
